The 11 million euros pocketed by Michael Carroll, 26, have remained, eight years later, on a path marked by drugs, prostitution, jewelry, clothing ... And this guy, says that now that he survives with an unemployment benefit of about 48 euros a day he is "happier".
"I have given myself to the great life, but now I want to recover my work and have a normal salary, it is easier to live with the subsidy money than with a million," he said in the Daily Mail. Carroll separated from his wife, who was left with custody of their daughter, one year after winning the lottery.
He also spent a few million with his family and friends and now believes that among his relatives were some "vultures" who have benefited more than he from the money he earned. "I started to see how people really are," he says.

If I win the lottery, I will buy:
- A very big house
- A new blue car
- New sport clothes
- and donate part of the benefit to caritas
